Course Description:
This education program addresses practicing dentists interested in increasing their knowledge, improving patient experience, and increasing revenue by adding Orthodontics to their practice. This master's course consists of lectures and hands-on sessions. The course works on philosophy, diagnostic skills, and practical knowledge to increase treatment success and case acceptance.
Course Objectives:
- Identify ideal cases to start incorporating orthodontic cases with Fixed system or Clear Aligners treatment in your practices, including Orthodontic letters and forms
- Compile the required Diagnostic records – Digital photography, treatment chart, study models, digital scanning, cephalometric, panorex, and periodontal exam.
- Basic Biomechanics and Its Implications in Orthodontics
- Diagnosis and Treatment Planning ( Extraction or Non-Extraction, Growth Modification, Early Treatments, Surgery or Camouflage, etc.)
- Growth and Development, Phase I & Removable expansion appliances
- Fixed brackets, Readjusted Appliance
- Different Archwires, elastics, power chains, open coils, separators, and banding of molars
- Retention, Cases; Before and After
